DNA Sample Collection Privacy: LEGAL DNA tests must be done by a third party professional, who will require and photo ID, and photo documentation will be required of the people being sampled. A Private DNA test does not require proof of identity, or photo documentation.
DNA Sample Mailing Privacy: The DNA Testing Corporation’s Laboratory name is usually in the return address.
Billing Privacy: Unless specifically stated otherwise your credit card bill will show a charge from a DNA Testing Lab.
DNA Test Result Privacy: Check the website for how they post test results. Sites that require a password offer the greatest privacy. Mailing test results offers almost no privacy.
