We accept your name or an alias on our forms. Child-DNA does not require your identity for tests which do not build a chain-of-custody record. A chain-of-custody record is a legal document listing the medical professionals who had possession of the DNA samples from collection to results. This process generally begins in a medical clinic and is required for use of DNA paternity results in the courts.
Instead, you establish this chain-of-custody at home by collecting your own samples and sending them to us. We will help you track your shipment throughout the entire process until you view your results online on our secure, encrypted website.
